Ring Chung is the founder of the Soul Hearing Counselling and Development Centre. The name “Soul Hearing” is emphasized on active listening to the clients’ hearts by Ring.

Listening is undoubtedly very important in communication and it also shows the therapeutic style of the therapist.  Not only listen to what the clients say, but also to their physical posture, facial expression, tone of voice and the meanings behind.

With careful observation, Ring could assess the clients’ needs more accurately.  Through active listening, she could give appropriate feedback and let the clients feel understood, accepted and validated. This is the first step of therapy which is exceptionally significant.

After establishing the mutual trust, clients are facilitated to explore how they feel and think about their problematic isssues as well as their interactions with others from different angles. Through breaking of vicious cycles and seeking new possibilities, clients are able to strive for new ways of relating and pursue for personal growth.

Besides, Ring Chung will hold workshops and talks in various organizations for psycho-education on promoting the well-being of  participants.
